Hiwote Baltena Export began in 2000 E.C., founded by Birke G/Kidan with a commitment to preparing dependable, authentic Ethiopian food ingredients. What started as a family-led local business grew through years of dedication, consistency, and the trust of our community.
Today, we prepare essential ingredients used in traditional Habesha cuisine, including Berbere, Shiro, Mitmita, Beso, Ajaa, sesame seed, and other spice products. Building on our local experience, we are expanding toward international markets so more customers can experience the distinctive flavors of Ethiopia.
